Saroeun has more than 20 years of experience with civil society organizations, particularly in governance, organizational leadership, and development, member-based organizations development, program management and quality assurance, network building and mobilization, policy advocacy, green growth development and democratic accountability. He had deeply engaged in multiple development sectors, government and private sector. Saroeun was the Executive Director of the Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) in 2011–2020, served as founder and board member of the Transparency International Cambodia, Asia Development Alliance, and Asia Democratic Network (ADN) and recently held multiple consultancy roles with a number of I/NGOs and development partners including ILO, UNDP, GIZ and the World Bank. He values people, and people’s organization, innovation, and transformative change.
